Mike Tuttle worked at Bothell Integrated Health from the end of 2010 thru to the middle of 2011. We needed someone to cover shifts while another employee was on sabbatical. Mike was running his own private practice at the time and was also in the process of moving locations. The timing worked out perfectly for both he and our clinic.
Mike is a person of the highest integrity. At no time did he try to “farm out” our patients to his own practice. He stepped up and in the relatively short period he was with us, became a leader in the clinic. The other therapists looked up to him and asked him treatment and patient management questions regularly. He has a natural way with massage, as well as with people, and this was made evident in fact that he had the highest “re-booking” rate of anyone at our clinic. He was regularly praised for his effective and relaxing treatments by the patients he worked with.
On more than one occasion referring physicians commented on the highly effective work he performed with their patients.
Mike is also skilled at diffusing tense situations between coworkers seeking the best solution for all involved. This paired with his ability to garner the respect of others makes me believe he is a prime candidate for management in any form.
The answer to the big question is an emphatic “Yes!” I would re-hire Mike Tuttle without hesitation. He is one of those rare gems of an employee that loves his work so much it is a pleasure to be around him. His presence tends to put other employees in an improved mood as well, and the bottom line is that the customers love him and his work.
